Building Exterior Improvement Grant Program (BIG Program)
The DDA offers grant programs for eligible improvements to the exteriors of commercial properties located within the DDA district. This is a matching grant program, with applicants potentially receiving up to 50% of the cost of eligible improvements. Monies are available for improvements such as signage, lighting, paint, and other work to exteriors on a first-come, first-served basis. In 2008-2009 the DDA earmarked $30,000 for this program, and funds have been spent for this budget year.
