2018, the community invested in Downtown in the following ways:

  • Over $2.2 million in private investment
  • 6 buildings rehabilitated and/or renovated
  • 6 new businesses opened
  • 33 new jobs
  • 3,469 volunteer hours donated
  • 42 special events

Curently, 82% of our downtown businesses have been here longer than 5 years. 15 businesses have located their second or more location in Downtown Lake Orion. There are approximately 164 businesses within the district and several new residential developments being built.

For 2019, these are notable current projects under development:

  • 120 S. Broadway is a $7.1 Million mixed-use, four-story building.  It will have 5,565 Square feet of street-level commercial space and 24 new market-rate residential units.
  • 102 S. Broadway is a $ 400,000 development for an 8,863 square foot  Restaurant with a 1,777 sq ft rooftop bar.
