This is your chance to be a part of the Lake Orion art scene. January 3rd – January 30th you can participate in the LOcal Lens Photography & Art Contest.
- Take a picture while in Downtown Lake Orion and use #ExperienceLakeOrion and #LOcalLens on Instagram to enter. Instagram not your thing? email you photos to NJani Payne at events@downtownlakeorion.org
- OR you can draw, paint, sculpt, or model what you think Downtown is or has to offer. and submit your work using #ExperienceLakeOrion and #LOcalLens, similarly you can email your work to events@downtownlakeorion.org
- At the end of each week winners will picked, take home a prize and their work will be shared in a collage.
Each weeks winners will be notified via social media or email and receive a prize. A grand prize winner will be selected from all previous week’s winners and will receive a framed print of their photo or art and $50 in Downtown Dollars. Photos and art must represent Downtown Lake Orion and be family appropriate.
Each Sunday starts a new week of the contest and a new chance to win! Photos and art are accepted any time during the week. The deadline to submit is the Thursday of each week. You can submit as many photos or art pieces as you would like.
By using the hashtags during this contest all contestants are agreeing to let the Downtown Development Authority freely use their photos.
