Whether you’re looking for a night on the town, some family fun or a unique shopping and dining experience, Downtown Lake Orion has what you’re looking for.

Music & Art

Start at Accent on Art where you’ll find prints made by local artists. Next head over to the Orion Art Center gallery to see their latest exhibit. You’ll find shows featuring musicians from around the world at 20 Front St. If you want a more casual atmosphere, head over to Lockhart’s BBQ, CJ’s Sandbar, Valentino’s Italian Grill, ABeanToGo Coffee Roasters, Wine Social or Fork N’ Pint and listen to local musicians playing most every Friday or Saturday night. Looking for that hard-to-find album? Head over to Broadway Records. Thinking about learning how to play an instrument? Go to the Orion Music Studio. Find more information on our Business Directory

Shop, Eat, Repeat

Start the day with breakfast at CJ’s Lakeside Grill. Then pop into Ed’s Broadway gift & costume right next door. Across Flint street, you’ll find Green Hippo Gifts, Prime Time Comics & Cards or Hanson’s Running Shop. No matter which direction you choose, you’re sure to find something to fit your taste and budget. Speaking of taste, you can’t go wrong with lunch at Sagebrush Cantina, or maybe dinner at Valentino’s Italian Grill or any one of the other fine restaurants in Downtown. Parks, Trails, and Lake

Take the Paint Creek Trail from Rochester to Downtown Lake Orion. Ride past the Orion Art Center and park your bike in front of Cookies & Cream and grab a sweet snack. Then you and the kids can head across the bridge into Children’s Park so they can play on the swings and play equipment. Once you’re done, walk south on Broadway over to Meek’s Park to see the squirrels and ducks before grabbing your bike and heading back home on the Paint Creek Trail.
